Mama_Ju,

Follow db's advice for setting your virtual memory settings however I would
*strongly* advise allowing Windows to manage your VM itself.

"Virtual memory low" or "virtual memory minimum too low"?

Two different issues.

I was trying to print something out and my printer would not respond. The
message came up that my virtual memory is low. How do I let windows handle
this problem?

Try Ctrl+Alt+Delete to select Task Manager and click the Performance
Tab. Under Commit Charge what is the Total, the Limit and the Peak?

How much RAM memory? Right click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop
and select Properties any you will find the information on the General
tab.

How large is your hard disk and how much free space. Right click on your
C drive in Windows Explorer and select Properties to get this
information.

It is usually an indication of too many active processess or an
application(s) recently run did not release resources it was using (common
cause). Quick cure is to reboot.

Check: rt. click My Computer>Properties>Advanced tab>Settings under
performance>Advanced tab>Virtual memory -change>Check "System managed size"
or custom minimum size should be at least 1 1/2 times amount of RAM.
