Ok, I am buying an additional hard drive, its the same as the one I am using
now, but it has a bigger buffer, can I make it so that windows only uses
that drive to store the paging file on instead of the primary drive?

The best option would be to configure a paging file on both drives.

The one on the boot drive can be quite small, say 10 mb minimum 100 mb
maximum, provided that you have the System Failure Memory Dump options
configured to the small or none setting. Windows uses the paging
file on the boot drive for the memory dump as this is faster than
creating a new file.

Good luck

Yes. Control panel is your friend.
