I recently installed a new DVD Creator software and when
I was trying to use some of the 3D backgrounds I received
a window saying I was at minimum virtual memory and to
wait a minute while xp did something. After this I tried
opening another software program and a couple of areas
wouldn't open or function and I was wondering if xp moved
some files into the page file, how can I retrieve them
now that I have increased my memory? I went from 258 to
516, is it necessary to change the settings in the
virtual memory window. It has the same setting it did
before I installed the new memory cards. Thank you

There might be an easier route, but click "Start", right click
"My Computer", click "Manage", right click "Computer
Management (Local), then "Properties". Click on the
"Advanced" tab, then on the "Settings..." button under
"Performance". Under "Virtual Memory", click the "Change"
button. That will bring up the "Virtual Memory" dialog box.
I don't know quite what would be optimum on your computer,
but on my 512MB computer, I selected "Custom size", and
set the "Initial size" to 768, and the "Maximum size" to 1536.
