Daemon Tools will mount them...

....but you have to make an image for it to mount. See "Imaging and Burning"

On the Christmas issue of PC Plus, the cover disk has a program called
Alcohol 52% which I am using to avoid this problem. It works just fine.

Cheers

I have daemon tools, however it seems complicated. I would like to just
have icons for my kids Jumpstart and Bob the Builder games but cant
figure out how to do it. My 3 year old cant start daemon tools and find
and mount in iso everytime he wants to play. Good simple instructions
would be welcome.

There is no need to start Daemon Tools and mount an image each time. The
whole idea is that it creates a virtual drive and once you mount an image it
stays mounted whether Daemon Tools is running or not.

1. Make images for whatever games you want and stash each in folders

2. Start Daemon Tools

3. Right click icon in sys tray
Virtual CD/DVD ROM
Set number of devices. You can have up to four.

4. Repeat #3 but select the virtual drive you want > "mount image" rather
than number of devices.

5. Browse to the image file folder for a particular game and select the
image. Repeat for each virtual drive you make (different game).

6. When you close Daemon Tools select "Leave emulation options enabled"

To start the game, just click on its normal shortcut icon in Start >
Programs. You can copy/move that shortcut wherever you want it.

It's really not that hard. I also use Daemon to mount an image of
Jumpstart Toddler for my 3-year-old. Here are the steps I went
through.

1) Uninstall the program. It doesn't seem to notice when new CD
drives show up.

2) Install Daemon

3) Make an image of the CD. There are a couple of options but I use
DiskDump/Frontend <http://come.to/ddumpfrontend> Be careful with this
web-host, it tries to auto-install some kind of spyware. But the
DiskDump Frontend program is good.

4) Mount the image in Daemon. It should autostart the first time and
Daemon will remember that you want it there.

Two ways you could go now...

A5) Reinstall JSToddler

or the way I'm pretty sure I went (not at that computer right now)

B5) Create an icon pointing to the AUTORUN on the Daemon CD.

B6) Change the icon to the .ICO file on the Daemon CD (not really
needed, it's just so you see Giggles)

If you find that Daemon does not reconnect when you reboot, you might
have to put it in your Start->Programs->Startup folder. I had to do
this on one of my computers.

The program runs much better from a virtual disk; no pauses and no
sound of the disk starting up.
