Virtual Copy of Printed Document

Doese anyone know were a copy of a printed document is kept in the hard
drive. I head about it a few years ago, I just don't know were the
file itself is actually located.

It isn't. During the printing process, a spool file is generated.
That file is deleted upon completion of printing.
