Had to re install Windows XP - Same machine - same hard drive. After re
installation, windows activated with no issues. Problem started when
downloading updates. Windows ran it's validation tool and came back that my
validation failed due to an "unknown" error, and that I should contact my
local support team. Any one know what might cause this, and how do I find
out who my "Local Support Team" is?

Thanks - Terry,

And yes - it is a valid version of XP

Please visit: www.microsoft.com/genuine and click Validate Windows - that should resync the WGA validation files.

HAHAHA! ROFL! It's just a MickeyMouse joke. This "local support team" is
just another way for MickeyMouse to avoid having to offer an understandable
error message. Pathetic, isn't it?
