In the bottom right corner, a white background looks like a piece of wet
paper. There are blue-ish swooshes coming up from the bottom and curling
clockwise. They are most noticeably 3/4" thick and ~2-1/4" long, the image
impressions tapering off at about 3-1/2" height. They curve like an
elongated c. They start just left of center and 6 of them extend along the
bottom, spaced ~1" apart to near the right edge of the screen. They are like
shark gills. Very noticeable on white background, Not noticeable with a
colour image I don't think.

Brand new Viewsonic p95f+b 19" [trintiron].

What is this problem?
Is this a problem I have to live with?
Is there an adjustment?
Should I contact Viewsonic and ask?
Should I consider it needs fixed/replaced?

Are there speakers or something else that could produce
powerful magnetic fields anywhere near the monitor?

If yes, remove any such devices, and look for
the degaussing feature in the monitor manual.
