Viewscan White Balance Question

I have a viewscan 8 white balance question.

I set all the parameters and do a preview. The color is good.

The color balance shifts all over the place depending on my crop even with
none selected under color balance.

What I want to do is lock the white balance.
Is there a way to do that ??

Use the "Advanced Workflow Suggestions" in the VueScan User's Guide.
The option that does this is "Input|Lock image color".
