Hi,

I have Windows Xp Professional Version 5.1 on my PC.

When I open Explorer, I have following Toolbar options under the Views. They
are Thumbnails, Tiles, Icons, List, Details. I want my explorer set to
Details by default. How can I do this? I have been to Tools->Folder
Options-View...But can't find any relevant option to this.

Any idea how can I do this?
Thanks

Hi

After you have set View>Details and are in Tools>Folder Options>View click on 'Apply to All Folders' - then re-start Windows Explorer.

Hi Mike,

Set the folder to detail view.
Then, click Tools | Folder Options | View tab
Click the "Apply to all folders" button.
