My powerpoint presentation works great on my screen. But on other computers
in the office it iis wrapping text down to the next line. In the text boxes
and in tables....

I have check the display properties and they are the same as my screen
I have set up the presentation page set up as display with the default
settings (10")
We are all running Windows XP and the same version of Powerpoint 2003.

Thanks !

Hi, Lisa,

You might want to check what fonts you're using. If you
aren't using standard fonts, the font might not be
installed on all the computers ... if it isn't installed
on a computer, PowerPoint will give you the best
facsimile of the font that it can (this is true for all
Office apps, FYI) -- and that can affect spacing from one
computer to another in exactly the way you describe.

If you want to use non-standard fonts and be sure that
everyone is seeing the same thing ... go to Tools,
Options, Save and select 'Embed TrueType Fonts' (this is
a presentation-specific option that you can just set as
you need it) -- but be aware that this may significantly
increase the size of your presentation ... so finding a
similar standard font might be a simpler solution.

Note: If you do embed fonts, choose the option to embed
the entire font. If you embed just characters in use --
users who don't have the font installed on their computer
might not be able to edit those slides without throwing
off content.

Hope that's helpful.
