I just recently upgraded MS Office from 2000 to XP. Now I find that any
presentations created with XP, and viewed (via pack and go, with MS View) on
a computer with an older version of Office (like 2000) does not carry over
the new features.

any way to get a viewer that would show these XP enhancements on a lesser
computer ?

When the new viewer is released later this year. sorry

Do you have any idea of a release date for the new viewer ?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, when Microsoft says later this year, that is about as far as they go. No more information is yet available.
