viewing tiff files

Which OS? XP can view them fine by default
in its "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" (shimgvw.dll)

If that is your OS and you want to reinitialize its associations
try to Run... (e.g. press Win-R and enter:)
regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll
