Viewing thumbnails

I recently had Office XP Pro install on my laptop. Since
then I have been unable to view jpeg images under the
thumbnail option on the dropdowm menu tool bar. I only
see large squares with the jpeg icon in it. tif file view
as thumbnails like they should. Any ideas where I went
wrong.
