Hi, I have a Windows 2000 Server which contains around 40
gig of image files split amongst hundreds of directories.
The problem is that sometimes the contents of a directory
can be viewed as thumbnails with no problem, some
directories display some images as thumbnails but not
others and some directories will not display any images as
thumbnails. If I open an image file by double clicking it
will display with no problem. I am running Windows 2000
Server SP3 and have copied the image files to various
different machines with different versions of Windows and a
lot more Ram and it makes no difference. Can anyone help?
Regards - Tony

Perhaps the files that don't show the "thumbnails" don't have a preview
image generated. Or perhaps you don't have "Web" view enabled. Or
perhaps the "thumbnail" isn't enabled for the the image type. Those are
a few of the possibilities. I would suggest you start by comparing file
types and directory settings to determine the root cause.
