I just imported my contacts and their sufolders into Outlook 2003. When
viewing the contacts I do not see my sub-folders. I canot create a sub
folder. I do not see the + or - sign next to the contact folder indicating a
subfolder.

Importing is a poor way to transfer Outlook data. Hard to tell just what you
may have done. Use Folder List to view the accurate hierarchy of your
Contacts Folders and we'll see what we can figure out. Hopefully you still
have the PST file from which you tried this import.

Yes I still have the PST file that I exported and subsequently imported from.
That is the tool outlookk provides to do this. I have been doing it this way
for 5 years. Now with the new XP 2003 how should I synchronize the data on my
two computers?
How do I solve the problem of not seing the subfolders?

Well first, please answer the question I asked.
