Viewing spacebars, tabs,returns

How can I view not-printing characters like spacebars, tabs, returns while
composing in Powerpoint 2003. MS Word has a Paragraph mark to click on and
off for viewing.
Is there any way I can view these while composing.

Unfortunately there is no such thing in PowerPoint, not even in version
2007.
