Eric

I am having problems with IE6 that I can't seem to fix.

Everytime I go to "view source" of a web site, nothing
will show up, which never was the case before.

Also, when I right click to save images, the only format
it will let me save in is .bmp, which never happened
before either.

Anyone who can help me out with this? It is greatly
appreciated.

Those symptoms are usually an indication that your temporary internet folder
(TIF) has gotten too full. Empty it and things should go back to normal.

I am having the same problem but with Outlook as well ...
with only being able to save pictures as bmp instead of
jpg or gif. I always keep my temp file deleted so what
else can be the problem ??

Thanks

Eric,
There may be several reasons .........

1) If a shortcut exists on the Desktop for Notepad, rename it.
2) Some users have reported Quick View Plus to be the culprit?
[or]
Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab | Delete Files button
Also select the option: "Delete all offline files"
Then click the "Clear History" button, while you're at it ......
Reset the TIF cache size to 50 mb. Click Apply\Ok
