viewing problems

In windows explorer, I prefer to use the "list" view
option. How do I set it to automatically stay on this
setting. I use a large quantity of files and folders, and
I'm pulling my hair out because I have to click on
view/list every time I come to a new folder. Thanks for
your help.

Disable "remember each folder's view setting" and set all folders like
current folder. You can find this in tools--options.
