Viewing Problem w/ I.E. on a ICS network setup!!!!!

i just recently connected my desktop and two laptops in a network...i used the ICS setup..my desktop is the host computer and the two laptops as the clients...my desktops is connected to a ADSL then attached to a hub switch, where my two laptops are connected. there was no problem till i tried to use the internet explorer on the laptops(client), they can only view or open the search websites like yahoo,msn,google...but cant view other sites...i tried everything in the help section but wont work...HELP PLEASE!!!!

A few questions to help understand what setup you have:

What Operating system is each PC/laptop running?

I wonder if they are really seeing these sites, or whether they are looking
at the temporary internet file cache - try clearing that first and see if
they can still access the web.
Very hard to imagine how you can access these sites but not others - So is
there any "net nanny" or key word blocking software in use on the systems?
What firewalls (if any) are in use, and how are they setup? If there are, is
there any clues on the firewall log?
You say you are using ICS - so the adsl connection comes into an ADSL modem
which connects to the desktop pc?
I assume both clients have the exact same problem?
I assume the desktop works without any problem?
Can the pc's see each other on the LAN?
Might also be useful to know what hardware (make model) is in use here.

all my computer are running in windows xp professional...
im not using any net nanny...yes i hav a firewall only in the desktop, where the adsl modem is connected in 1 of the ethernet cards, the 2nd ethernet card is connected to the hub..so the HOST pc is the desktop...yes u were right both the client pc's have the same problems and the desktop(HOST) doesnt have a problem at all...yes the all the pc's can see eachother on LAN..hope this clears up some things...thnx...

Ok, I suggest you TEMPORARILY disable the desktop firewall (if it is the XP
ICF one) to start with and see if that helps. It will certainly not help to
LAN based units in communicating with the desktop or the interbnet beyond.
ICF and ICS are fairly mutually exclusive to operate correctly. Even better
(even if only for diagnostic purposes) install the free Zonealarm from
zonelabs.com, but ensure you enable the trusted Zone for all the local IPs.
Let's see what effect that has before we cange anything else.

Given the fact that all PCs can see each other but only the desktop can
access the Net, It would be useful to know what TCP/ip settings you have set
for each system - found under proerties for the NIC on each box.

i tried what u suggested but still didnt work... the I.E. is still the same... the settings in the client pc's on TCP/IP are both on determine IP auto,this is the bridged network setting.. in the desktop i have the brige network setup as:
IP-192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask-255.255.255.0
Default gateway-blank

the DNS server's are blank

i forot to ention that the client pc's can use the programs like msn,yahoo messenger and kazaa with no problems..i can also download and stuff without any problems.. the only problem is with viewing with the I.E. i cant access the sites like www.apple.com,but can access really fast the yahoo.com.....im kinda new with this network thing so thanx 4 all the help...
