When I had win 98, I had a folder option to view .jpg images off to the left
of the folder. I would use detail view and as you selected each, a small
thumb would appear on the left. How is this done in Win XP home?

They still apear in Windows XP. click once on the picture
and on the sidepane in Windows Explorer scroll down
to "Details" (under Picture Tasks, Other Places, etc.) and
it will give you the same type of preview.
