Viewing photos used in Photo Story

After I have made a photo story I wonder if there is a way to make a data
file of the photos used. Since I pulled them from different folders I would
like to have just the pictures used in the story so I can use them for other
purposes.
Does anyone know if the program has that capability?
Thanks!

If you play the completed .wmv file in Windows
Movie Maker you can do screen captures
of the images but the resolution may not be
very good.

Import the video into Movie Maker, drag it
to the timeline and play it. When you see
an image you want to save...pause the
movie and click the "Take Picture " button
at the bottom right of the view screen.

The 'Save Picture As' screen will open
and you can choose a name and a save
location.

The source files can be extracted from
the .wp3 project file but it requires some
special knowledge. The following article
explains how to do it.

John, is there an advantage to using Movie Maker over Photo Story? I have not
tried MM yet.
Thanks, again!

If you are only working with pictures...PhotoStory
is a good choice but either one can be used to
combine pictures into a movie like presentation
For a beginner or casual user I would say
PhotoStory would be easier to use.

If you have video clips (like the ones most
digital cameras make)...and would like to
edit and combine them into a presentation
with music, narration, effects and transitions
....Movie Maker would be very useful.

I would say try both and decide which is best
for you.
