Viewing photos on TV

I have hooked up an S-Video from my computer to my TV but cannot get anything
to appear on the TV. I do have the TV set to the correct input, do I have to
set something on my computer to make it work. I am trying to view a
slideshow on the TV. If this isn't a solution how would you recommend I view
a slideshow on the TV. Thanks

you should have software from the video card maker to allow you to change the displays.
you have to tell the video card to use the s-video output using this software.
