Viewing Photos inserted in email

I have inserted panorama photos into email and really
like how easy it is to pan back and forth using my scroll
wheel/button on my Intellimouse. I am able to control
the speed of the side to side panning very easily. I am
unable to duplicate that ease of viewing with any of my
photo viewer programs. I want to open the photo and view
it on screen without having to email it to myself. What
viewing software is being used in Outlook Express?
