viewing pdf file with adobe

IE stops responding when I try to open online pdf files, I tried to resolve
the issue with adobe reader to no avail . can anyone help me?

i had the same problem a while back. the solution for me (from the
adobe support website) was to uninstall all versions of the adobe
reader and acrobat programs and then re-install the most recent
version. that solved my problem.

In the Adobe Preferences there is an internet option to "open pdf in
browser"..not sure which version you are using.
 
I think I fixed it. I uninstalled adobe and the update manager, then I
reinstalled adobe 7.0.5. It seems to be working now.
