I am using Outlook 2003 and I cant view past appointments. I can view
October and September but I cant view anything past September. I know I have
appointments but they dont show up when I click on that day. In a perfect
world I would like to see appointments from January 1, 2006 on. Can somebody
please help!

Might the appointments have been archived? Check for an Archive.PST or
similarly named file using the File menu > Open > Outlook Data File command.
You can open the archive then drag/drop the items from the archive back into
your live folders.

Vince,
I do not know it they are archived or not? I have been able to look at
appointments dated back to August 11, 2006. There is a "Outlook 1 pst." file
when I go to File > Open> Outlook Data File. The "Outlook 1 pst. file is 931
MB. I dont know what I am doing with that file and the last thing I want to
do is loose everything because I can mess up the easiest of tasks. I thought
there was a setting somewhere in "calender" that you could set to view
appointments as far back as 1 year? I really appreciate any help you could
give me on this topic.

It sure sounds like they were auto-archived. Double check your machine for
PST files (make sure to look in hidden & system folders).

Vince,
Thanks so much for getting back to me so fast. The .pst file that is HUGE
is the "Outlook1.pst" file. Can you walk me through on how to open it etc...
etc... if this is the file that has the past appointments?

You should be able to open your archive with the File menu > Open > Outlook
Data File command
