I am having trouble accessing a data access page from
another computer on the network. I was curious to know if
there was a way to view as read only? I only want users
to view the results not the ability to modify records. I
am using Office 2003 on a WIN2K server. I would imagine
that it's a security setting but I am unsure of where to
go.

Thanks in advance.

If your looking to dispay a data access page as read only, just add grouping levels. Doing this renders the page as read-only. All add/delete records buttons will be unavailable and users can only navigate records

Also, if you can't access the page from a specific PC it can only really be 3 things. Share permissions, licensing, not IE5 or better as a browser

would these grouping levels need to be set at the Folder
level or set on the actual document.

i am also receiving an error message that states (Data
Provider could not be initialized) (Disk or Network
Error). I am completely clueless on that one.
