I (will) have Microsoft Outlook 2007 on two computers that are networked via
a router. If the drives are properly "mapped", will I be able to access
Outlook on both computers?

If you have Outlook installed on both you can use Outlook on both. The
tricky bit is do you need to access the same e-mail account/data on both or
will they have separate e-mail accounts and folders?

Each will have a separate email account and folders. I'd like to be able to
access those for both computers, if it's possible, but my main concern is
being able to access separate contact lists and calendars.

As long as you run Outlook on only one machine at a time, you should be able
to put a PST in a network share on one PC and access it from the other.

Running on one machine at a time isn't an option. There will be two users,
both needing simultaneous access. (Both will probably keep Outlook open all
the time for quick access to the contacts and calendar information.)

Then you'll need some kind of back-end because Outlook will not allow a PST
to be open in two separate Outlook instances. See if something here helps:

Just wanted to thank everyone for thier suggestions. I went to
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm and opted to try the free trial
download of ShareO. It does EXACTLY what I need, and the cost is relatively
inexpensive ($35 per user). I can now view 3 calendars, 3 contact lists, and
3 email accounts. I love it. The tech support people were very helpful and
once I got the program installed, it was a snap to use.
