viewing inbox totals in Outlook

I now am running xp and under the folder list on the left
side i used to have a total number of inbox items and
unread items (i.e. - 86 items, 14 unread). I don't have
it anymore. Please advise as to how to view this. thanks
for any help..
 
- Open Outlook
- Go to the View menu
- Click "Status Bar"

This should allow the totals in the lower left section of Outlook.
