viewing files on CD

I copied files onto a CD, am able to view them all okay, when I insert the
disc into my laptop only some of the files show up. Can someone help me, I
don't know where to begin to solve this problem. Both systems are on
windows XP home, are uptodate, with updated virus protection etc.

What third party application did you use to burn the files to CD?
