Viewing ESSID list and channels from Windows Vista

Hello,
is there a command line utility that can be used to find out all
ESSIDs and corresponding channel numbers that a computer running
Windows Vista can see? Is there also a graphical utility that can be
used for this? I would prefer to use software that came with Windows
Vista Home Premium for this purpose. If not, I would appreciate to
know the name of a freeware programme that can do this.

Take a look at "HeatMapper" (google for it). It's free for personal
use.
