It can be done easily if I'm reading you correctly. Assuming you're
downloading mail from either location but from the same server and e-mail
addresses, simply go to "tools" and then "accounts." One of the settings-if
memory serves it's under the advanced tab but if not, just look around and
you'll find it--allows you to leave messages on the server--period--or you
can leave them on the server for XX days or until deleted from your inbox.
So, for example, if you want to do all administration from location 2, set
location 1 to leave mail on the server and it will remain on until you
download it on location 2. The negative side of this is if you only use
location 2 very rarely. If so, mail will really build up on your server
and, if your ISP has limits, you might lose some of it. For this reason,
I'd suggest making the settings on both locations to leave a copy on the
server until it is deleted from the inbox. That way, no matter which system
you're using, if you delete the message, it's gone and if you want to see it
on the other system, it's still available for downloading.
Hope this helps and, as the other fellow said, for future reference, find an
Outlook Express group. ;-)
