yes. Turn on the Advanced Toolbar and use the white window that says
Address Cards to change to a table view. Phone List is good. You can look
at various Views in each folder.

I assume that you want the results fully exported to Excel, not simply
viewing it in Outlook, right? I noticed on puzzlenyc.org this answer:

In Outlook, select File > Import and Export
This starts a wizard containing several steps.
1. Select Export to a File
2. Select Microsoft Excel for the file type. (Personally, I would recommend
Comma Separated Values (windows) as the file type. It seems to be a more
flexible option, and Excel can read these types of files, as well.
3. Make sure you select the CONTACTS folder as the folder you want to export
from
4. Select the file location and / or modify the file name
5. Confirm all is correct. If necessary you can map custom fields, but this
can get quite complicated. I would just take the defaults. They work quite
well.
6. Click Finish

- Hope this works. There are some more details on the puzzlenyc.org site
such as what to look for when you do this conversion. Worth reading it.

Gosh, so much work... just make a table view in Outlook and copy and paste
them into Excel. All of the fields in the view will copy, so if you make a
view with just the name and phone number that is all that will be copied.

He just said he wants to view them in a grid form "like Excel" not in
Excel. So I think I answered this.
