Viewing Chinese website

After installing Window XP I can no longer view chinese
website. I tried to add the language in at internet
option but it does not help.

Does anyone know how to get this to work?

You need to install a proper language pack.

When you to read a Chinese website without installing any language pack,
you'll see some odd characters. In this page, right click and select
Encoding->More->Chinese Simplified/Chinese Traditional (depends on the
website you are visiting), you will be asked to install the corresponding
language pack. Follow the instruction to install, you'll be able to view
Chinese website.
