I installed Corel Draw 11 two days ago on my Dell P111
1.2Ghz Laptop w 512MB ram. I have 50% free on drive C.
Now all jpg and bmp files show up as Corel 11 Graphics in
explorer and if I double click on a file it comes up in
Corel rather than the windows viewer. A search for *.jpg
shows that they still are jps's.
Please advise remedy. (e-mail address removed)

Try this...open an image folder and right click one
of your image files...from the menu, select...Open
With / Choose Program.

Make your choice from the list or Browse to the
correct program if it is not in the list. Once you
make your selection...be sure to check the box
that says: "Always use the selected program to
open this kind of file". (you will need to do this
for each format....jpg, .tif, .gif, .bmp...etc.)

Some more info:

Also...in WinXP, you can go to...My Computer /
Tools / Folder Options / File Types tab...
