View Web Pages Offline

Hi Cobs,

Where are the links to? If they are to another domain(site) then they won't
work off-line as those pages are not copied to your hard disk. Only links to
pages within the same domain are copied locally.

Regards.

Unfortunately, it's an internal network. However, I'm sure that links are
living on the same domain. I created the links myself ;-)

I followed the current procedure illustrated here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/mobility/learnmore/offlineviewing.mspx#top
to save several web pages at once for offline viewing.

Content to download is 3 links deep. Synchronisation is completed.

However, when I went offline, all links cannot be accessed.

What am I doing wrong?

Possibly nothing. If you go to those links manually and then set
Work Offline can you go to them again? If not, the page is non-cacheable
and that would explain why the page loaded by your synchronization procedure
can't link to such pages either.

Also, when you get messages about the page not being available offline
try clicking Stay Offline anyway. Sometimes the rest of the page being
linked to will still load so you can at least do something with it.
