When i click on 'view', and afterwards 'source', the
sourcecode of a internetpage should be revealed in
notepad.

Somehow this does not work anymore on my computer. Does
anyone know what happened?

Hi Robin :-)

Try the following and see if it will help.

Can't View 'Source' - Courtesy of Don Varnau:

First, clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content.) It's often recommended that the TIF
folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

If you have a shortcut to Notepad.exe on the desktop, rename it.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this

Hope this helps.

This virus will create a fine notepad.exe in your c:\windows\system32

So scan for virus with latest definition tables.

Make sure that "notepad.exe" is present in your PC. I did a search for all
occurances of "notepad" and came up with two 65K versions in the c:\windows
and c:\program files\internet explorer\connection wizard. There was a third
file in c:\windows\system32, but it was only 3K. I opened it with an editor
and found an "MZ" file identifier (which means nothing to me). But, renaming
this file to "Xnotepad.exe" made the HTML code suddenly reappear when I
click on View Source. This anomaly just seemed to happen, and I have no idea
how it got there.
