view powerpoint with embedded flash with external viewer

Hello,

I have a powerpoint presentation that has linked flash files within the
presentation.

I want to give others the ability to view it who don't have the full
powerpoint software but can use the free downloadable Powerpoint Viewer 2003.

It seems to work great but the flash movies don't start. They are just a
static image. I've tried installing Flash Player and Shockwave player but
still no luck getting them to animate. There are no controls in the flash
movies. Just basic swf movies that loop.

Any help is much appreciated. It is important that I try to resolve this
with free players rather than installing full paid software.

Angelo,

the free ppt viewer has several things it does not support... one of which
is the ability to play flash files.
