After delegating mailbox rights to another outlook user, the only way to
access another user’s mailbox is by selecting File -> Open -> Other User’s
Folder, can we make the mailbox appear permanent on the left side on the
outlook bar and not have to always select File < Open ?

I can make that mailbox appear in outlook bar ONLY if I grant permission
through AD > System Manager >Exchange advanced->Mailbox rights properties.
But I dun to grant permission this way, as this method does not cannot
support READ only permission. (details on this here:

Tks.

Hi Judy, no that does not work. It will only if exchange permission is assign
via AD. But in AD, there is no read-only permission, only full access, which
is too much a priviledge to give to user in my case.

Any other ideas will be most helpful. tks !

PS - the Exchange read permission in AD is not exactly read permision, it
means to read mailbox's assigned permission, not the mailbox. see here for
details http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/01/25/418099.aspx)

From the link you posted...Did you try this? then my instructions?

3. Right-click on the Mailbox - <Target Mailbox Display Name> folder and
