I do powerpoint presentations for groups several times a year and it would
be very helpful to be able to view the next slide on my laptop before it
actually displays on the projector. Does anyone know if there is such a
custom program or whether through visual basic if this could be
accomplished.

If there is a custom solution or other method, please email me at
(e-mail address removed)

Thanks,

Rick

PowerPoint 2002 (XP) introduced the Presenter View which configured to show
through "Slide Show" | "Set Up Show..." menu item, check "Show Presenter
View" box.

You might also want to look at PowerShow add-in at
http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html - among other things, it
enables you to see your slides and notes on the latop while the slide show
is beamed through the projector.

I see a couple solutions:

One, just print your presentation and have the slides in
front of you.
Two: Dual monitor mode. You can show the presentation on
the big screen and then have a totally different view on
your laptop.
Three: You can toggle the image off of the screen...which
would be a big irritant to your audience...to see the next
slide before they do.
