Hi,
In Outlook express I can "look inside" a message for a rough preview in-
non-html format-by rt. clicking and , then
Properties>Details>Message Source.In Outlook XP (Win 2000), I can't do
that. I can only read or delete a message. Is this a limitation of Outlook
and is there a fix? Thanks.

PS I have the latest Office XP patches.

Are you not able to right-click in the message body and choose View Source
from the context menu?

Hi!

I have the same problem like Peter (the only difference is that I'm using
Outlook 2000 SP-3). Of course I can right-click after I opened the message.
But what if I do not want to open the message because it could contain spam
or some virus or worm? Then I perhaps just want to have a look at the source
without opening the message.

And if I choose "View source" from the context menu in the opened message, I
just see the source of the message body - but I want to see the source of
the whole message!

Can anyone give me a hint?

If you need the full headers, you can right-click the message in the Inbox
(make sure you don't have the Preview Pane enabled) and select Options from
the menu -- the full headers will show up there.
