view installed components?

I *know* I've done it before, but it's usually by accident.... how do
I view a list of my computer's installed components?

Try the Computer Management console, accessible via the Control Panel |
Administrative Tools, or by Right clicking the My Computer desktop icon
and selecting "Manage", or by entering the appropriate command in the
Start | Run dialoge box, try:

compmgmt.msc /s

or better yet just enter: msinfo32 for the System Information Tool.

perfect.... I didn't know "manage" had so many options in it!
