View Files & Folders as 'List'

I would like to know how I can change the default view of all the files and
folders in My Documents to 'List'.. I have Windows XP Home Edition.
 
Hi

Open the folder that u want to change and set the settings to Lis
In explorer click on tools | folder Options
then click on the view ta
click on the button apply to all folders
then u will be prompted for whether u want to do so
confirm with yes and the settings will take place the next time you open the folder
