Word View Doc Title in Word File Open Screen

I’ve recently started to use Windows 7 (previously XP) and am now no longer able to see a document’s Title in the file open panel in Word (Office Ultimate 2007). “Help” suggests that the “Detail” option on the file open screen should show the document’s title but it doesn’t seem to.

Any suggestions gratefully received!
