View contact information in an opportunity

When an opportunity is open all I can see is the name of the account or
contact that the opportunity is linked to, it would be very helpful to be
able to see the contact information for the account or business contact that
the opportunity is linked to either by double clicking the name/account or
having the basic contact information just displayed in the opportunity. As
it works now we have to open the opportunity, get the name of linked contact
or account and then go back to business contact manager and do a search for
the account or contact to get their info, when we are calling all day this
gets to be very cumbersome. Thanks.

bugged me too!
there's a line on the opportunity to show who it's connected to and a button
to search for others. you'd think the name would be a link to pop open that
opportunity's "contact" wouldn't you?
I'm currently looking into whether there's a way to "spring" one open. if
you open an account card in BCM you can spring any of the associated
contacts, so it's not something impossible!

Chris,

Your posting here and among several other threads has been a breath of fresh
air as you echo many of my own sentiments. The hope for improvement is what
keeps a lot of us going here.

I agree with these suggestions but would particularly like to see the
Business Contact window that is currently on the Accounts form also on the
Opportunities form. I find that contacts are often more specific to an
Opportunity than an Account.
