I can bring clips into Moviemaker but when I preview them I only hear the
audio track and not see the video. Any suggestions?

The clips may have compatibility issues or
you may need to update your video driver.
File type compatibility with Movie Maker

Try reducing your Graphics Hardware Acceleration
as per the instructions in the following article.

If it improves the issue, you need to search the
support website of your Video adapter's mfg. for
an updated video driver.
