1. Every once in a while, the screen will flicker a
pinkish-purple color. I talked to people at Gateway and
they said to try a PC Doctor test. The results said my
video memory was bad. Later I did it again and it
passed. Would it be a bad video card?

2. Just today (maybe yesterday), some fonts were
appearing to be showing incorrectly (image link below).
I tried "chkdsk", Norton AntiVirus, downloaded two
updates from Microsoft. Also, a page with Verdana didn't
show up correctly. The fonts that were supposed to
appear larger were same size. I checked in Fonts and all
the "Verdana"s appear to be there. Any ideas what this
could be?
