Video transitions

Just a straight question I hope. Just prepared a very small photo
presentation with accompanying music and some video transitions. As a
'project' it works just fine, but when I save it as a .wmv there are some
very minute delays when the transitions take place.

Any suggestions how I can make this smoother?
