Video Transition

I think the answer to my question is probably simple but for the life of me I
can't figure it out. Between video clips I want a blank black screen instead
of a transition. Can someone please help me out with this? Thanks!
 
Not fancy, but you could always shoot a short clip with the lens cap on
your camcorder, capture it, and insert when needed.

Hi K2.
As Jim says or, just insert a blank title / credit either before or after an
image.
You will have to use a space instead of any text and change the text font
and
colour to black.
Hope this helps.

Make a black bitmap in paintbrush and import it, and then insert it between
the two clips.
Add fade transitions between.
