have just bought my first camcorder - a Panasonic DVC pv-gs120. How can I
get mm2 to recognise and download my recorded video tape? When I connect
from my camcorder to my PC (via USB) it fails to recognise the connection.
The camera only came with dv studio 3.1E-SE software and I would like to be
able to edit my tape, then transfer the video to cd/dvd.
Thankyou . G Hartley

Your camcorder specs include Mini DV In/Out IEEE1394 - that's a firewire
connection, which you need to get and use when using MM2 to capture from
it.... that's the connection you need to use for full digital video.

Camcorders don't usually come with the firewire cable....
