video to big

Every video that I play on my pc is to large for whatever
player I happen to try. It's like a square has been cut
right out of the middle of the video, and thats all I get
to see. Even streamed video (like a news broadcast from
MSNBC or CNN or whatever) does this. WMP does it. DIVX
player does it. Real player does it. Quicktime does it.
Videos from cd, dvd, download.....they all do it.
The only thing that I did before this started happening,
was download Realplayer. I have since got rid of it (cause
i hate it), but did that maybe change a system setting of
some kind? I am at my wits end. PLEASE, even if you are not
sure, but think that maybe something might help, let me
know. I will try it. THANK YOU.

Hi, Had a problem like this myself i found that the
problem was with my Video Driver Software, i have an
nvidia graphics card (GeForce chip set) and the driver
has an option called VIDEO OVERLAY. this allows you
to "zoom in" like a DVD Player or zoom out, if you right
click on the desktop, select properties, Settings,
Advanced, from here it depends on your Graphics card, but
find the overlay setting and make it 0 (Zero)

Hope this helps,

Bye!
